Water is the sign of beginning of life.  According to most of the evolution theories it is believed that life on earth started with water. Our own planet Earth area is covered with 71% of water.

But are you aware of the fact that 97% of the earth’s water is found in the oceans (too salty for drinking and growing crops). That means we cannot use the 97% of water. Only 3% of the earth’s water is fresh water. Out of 3% of fresh water 2.5% is again locked up as glaciers, polar ice caps, atmosphere, and soil.

That means we have only 0.5% of the earth’s water available as fresh water

What happens if water is completely finished? Can you imagine a day without water?

Water is very important to everyone’s life. A human can survive hardly just for one week without water. Water provides all the important nutrients required in the body. Every human needs water for drinking, cooking food, to maintain personal hygiene and keep homes and surroundings clean.  Water is also used in agricultural and industrial process.

Water is required by all the terrestrial life form to drink. It is also required for the marine and aquatic creatures to live because water is their living habitat. All plants vegetation also exists because of water. If there is no water then everyone is going to be perished because it is very precious natural resource. We should use water very carefully. Especially during the summer season, lot of water problems is faced across the country.

Today, water has become one of the major issues of the society. It was estimated that water in many countries will be finished by 2022. Water is the major issue of the populated countries like India and china.  As the population increases more amount of water is required. But the water being a natural resource is limited and water scarcity has increased because of uncontrollable overpopulation.  If the population is continued to grow and the water is still limited the world will fight for the sake of water. The cause for world war 3 is definitely because of water.

So in order to live without the scarcity of water there is a need to save every drop of water. Here are few tips to save water:

Valentine’s   Day means different things to different people.  For some; the day is celebrated with heart-shaped Valentine’s Day cards, thoughtful gifts of flowers or jewelry and romantic Valentine’s Day dinner plans. For others, it’s simply marked by time spent with a loved one.  But no matter your personal relationship with the day, odds are, you’ve found yourself wondering about its origins from time to time. How did February 14 first come to be considered the day of love? And from where the word “valentine” come from?

The day gets its name from a famous saint, St. Valentine.  But there are several stories of who he was.

Emperor Claudius required soldiers to fight battles for him. He was of the opinion that married men made very bad soldiers since they gave priority to their families and most of the married soldiers were reluctant to leave their families for battle. Hence Claudius abolished the concept of marriage.

Bishop Valentine took it upon himself to get the soldiers married. He used to secretly invite lovers to his place and conduct their marriages. When Emperor Claudius learnt about this he was furious and had Valentine arrested.

According to the legend while in jail and awaiting execution Valentine fell in love with the blind daughter of the jailer. Before his execution Valentine had sent her a message signed “From Your Valentine”. Till date, this phrase coined by Valentine remains ever popular and is used worldwide on Valentine’s Day.
